At Robonnement, we don’t just build robots—we build futures. That’s why it was a true honor to be invited to Institut auf dem Rosenberg—recently named the Best Boarding School in the World—to take part in their exclusive Community Weekend this March in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The event, hosted as part of Institut auf Rosenberg’s visionary Talent & Enrichment Program, brought together student innovators, academic leaders from institutions like ETH Zurich, and a select group of global industry pioneers. In this environment of curiosity, collaboration, and future-forward thinking, Robonnement was proud to lead one of the cornerstone workshops of the weekend.
Hands-On Robotics Meets Real-World Impact
Our session gave students a hands-on introduction to robotics in action. We showcased several of our advanced robots in a live setting, inviting students to:
✔️ Learn how we use sensors and software to coordinate autonomous robots in real-world workflows
✔️ Set up their own robot routes and experiment with “return-to-refill” logic
✔️ Understand how our Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model is making robotics as accessible as a bicycle.
One of the most exciting moments? Students had the chance to test the Apogee Exoskeleton—lifting their classmates with ease and experiencing firsthand how wearable robotics can amplify human strength in industrial settings.
They also had a blast experimenting with the “Follow me” feature of our T300 logistics robot, which carried students around the facility while flawlessly performing its task: transporting heavy “merchandise” to assigned spots or following a designated “worker” throughout the room—just like in a real warehouse or hospital corridor.
This wasn’t just a showcase—it was a fully immersive robotics experience. We also explored use cases in:
✔️ Logistics and office facilities
✔️ Sports facilities
✔️ Hospitals and healthcare
✔️ Industrial painting and maintenance
A Moment of Inspiration: CEO Nimrod Malinas' Keynote
The highlight of the day came when our CEO, Nimrod Malinas, took the stage to share his story—turning a bold idea into one of Switzerland’s fastest-scaling robotics ventures.
He encouraged students to “dream shamelessly big,” reminding them that great innovation is often born from unlikely places and unconventional thinking. His journey from early startup struggles to international scaling left a deep impression on many students.
Why This Matters
Robonnement’s invitation to Institut auf dem Rosenberg reflects a growing recognition of our mission—not only to innovate in robotics but to inspire the next generation. We’re deeply grateful to the Rosenberg team for including us in such a visionary educational experience.
The curiosity, engagement, and joy on the students’ faces reminded us exactly why we do what we do. We’re already looking ahead to future partnerships—with schools, students, and institutions who share our passion for bold ideas, hands-on learning, and creating impact through technology.
