The young company Robonnement from the Rhine Valley develops intelligent service robots for the restaurant, hotel, and event industries. The goal is to specifically relieve staff—not replace them. The robots take over simple, repetitive tasks like delivering food or clearing dishes, thus creating more time for personal attention and service quality.
At the LEADER Digital Awards, two of the robots were used for the first time in a festive setting. They navigated autonomously between the tables, distributed desserts, and quickly became the secret stars of the evening. Many guests took the opportunity to examine the device up close and chat with the founders.
With its solution, Robonnement shows how innovative technology can be meaningfully integrated into existing processes – and how the topic of digitalization can be not only discussed theoretically, but also experienced in a very concrete way.
