Why it matters
Historic marble, guide lines for blind people, sloping floors: we turned this into a protocol for every installation.
The situation
Large historic marble and stone floors, metal guide lines for blind people, an assembly hall, large windows and a sloping floor. Cleaning is done through a Geneva cleaning company.
What we built
Through the cleaning company we first deployed a wet cleaner, then a sweeping and vacuum robot. When the robot got lost on the sloping floor, we remapped the halls on site in two days: first with ceiling markers, then with a laser map, plus white brushes for the marble and edge detection switched off on the guide lines. This became our mapping protocol, which now applies to every installation.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- PUDU MT1 Vac sweeping and vacuum robot
- Ceiling markers and laser map
- White brushes for marble
- Our own mapping protocol
The result
After the remapping in February 2026, the customer was very satisfied with the marble cleaning. A new contract followed in September 2026: a new wet cleaner replaces the sweeper, and we are remapping the site with an additional hall.
