Use case · Cleaning
Technical fabrics maker in eastern Switzerland
No in the clean room, yes in production
Before
The wish to clean as many floors as possible with robots, including the cleanroom.
After
Not in the cleanroom, and we said so. In production the robot keeps cleaning.
In numbers
-
About 1,100 m²
per working day in production
Source: Robonnement OS, February to August 2026
The situation
A certified production with high cleanliness requirements. The customer wanted to clean as many floors as possible with robots in the future, later also in the clean room.
What we built
Demo in June 2025, after which we answered IT’s questions about cameras, offline operation and a dedicated SIM card. Installation in August 2025, three rooms mapped, no-go zones around the machines. Clean room tests with isopropanol and a HEPA filter followed in 2026.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- Dedicated SIM card instead of company Wi-Fi
- No-go zones around the machines
The result
In the clean room the robot failed the tests, because the brushes touch the floor. We said so plainly. In production it keeps cleaning, about 1,100 m² per working day. The customer cleans the robot for 30 minutes every week, and it shows.
Why it matters
We say so when a robot fails a test.
