The situation
Series parts for trucks hang on a conveyor chain and were painted in front of the oven by two painters with air spray guns. At the end of 2025 the father handed the company over to his son. The father knew our robot from the sister company’s plant and regretted not having tested it sooner.
What we built
A Lesta robot from stock, integrated into the chain behind the manual booth: a rotary encoder measures the chain, the robot paints every third position, a trigger starts the program for each part, plus a rotating hook, a new extraction wall, fencing and light curtains. In parallel, the customer rebuilt the booth and the side room. As a second step, a 2K system for water-based paint follows, with color change and an Airmix automatic gun on the robot. Plus a cleaning robot, set up in two hours.
