The situation
After handball games, resin stays on the floor. The staff removed it by hand late in the evening every other day, using special machines.
What we built
A wet cleaner with its own settings and brushes, started by the hall staff via an app. The idea came about when our founder set up a robot wrongly: lots of water and detergent, let it act, then clean. That is exactly what dissolved the resin.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- Adapted brushes and settings for resin
- Started via app by the hall staff
The result
The robot cleans about 2,100 m² per working day, and 94 out of 100 runs finish without help (February to August 2026). In the morning the court is ready for school sports. The program now runs in several sports halls.
Why it matters
A mistake became an application that now runs in several sports halls.
