The situation
After every handball game, resin sticks to the hall floor. It was cleaned by hand at night, before school sports begin in the morning.
What we built
A wet cleaner that works at night from 10 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. in six zones, with charging breaks in between. It first applies detergent, lets it act for about seven minutes and then scrubs hard. One robot covers about 80 percent of the hall, the middle; the whole floor would take two.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- Resin program with about seven minutes of dwell time
- Night schedule in six zones with charging breaks
The result
After the first week the customer wanted to stop: too much detergent, spots missed. Two weeks later the right setting was found, and he kept the subscription. Since then the robot has cleaned about 1,900 m² a night, and the floor is done by 7:15 a.m.
Why it matters
We listen when a customer wants to stop, and we set the robot up properly.
