Hospital in the canton of Zurich
Since March 2026, the robot runs throughout the hospital
Before
A hospital in full operation wants to relieve its housekeeping team, and every sound counts on the wards.
After
Since March 2026 the robot has covered the whole hospital, with a quieter squeegee.
The situation
A hospital in full operation wants to relieve its housekeeping team. Noise on the wards is an issue.
What we built
A wet cleaner on subscription, installed at the end of January 2026, with a map, no-go zones and virtual walls. After feedback about noise, we fitted a quieter squeegee. All floors were added by March, the fitness rooms and cafeteria in May, mapped at 8 a.m. because it gets busy from noon.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- Quieter squeegee
- No-go zones and virtual walls
The result
Since March 2026 the robot has been running throughout the hospital. In a customer review in September 2026, the hospital said the robot noticeably relieves the team.
Why it matters
In a hospital, what counts is how quietly and considerately we work.
