Food producer in the Zurich Unterland

The robot that suits the dirt

Running since February 2026 Anonymous case: we name the industry and the place, not the customer.

Before

Film scraps, wood pieces and packaging on the floor of a plant that almost never stops.

After

The sweeper clears the hall and is back at its station every morning.

A sweeping robot sweeps film scraps, cardboard and wood splinters from the floor of a food production hall.

In numbers

  • About 2,700 m²

of production hall per working day

The situation

A production that runs almost around the clock. Film scraps, bits of wood and packaging lie on the floor.

What we built

In February 2026 a sweeping robot and a wet cleaner on two floors. The wet cleaner clogged on film and wood, so since March 2026 we only use the sweeping robot there.

The result

The sweeping robot clears about 2,700 m² of production hall per working day and is back at its station every morning (March to August 2026). A second floor is possible.

Why it matters

We use the robot that suits the dirt, even if it means one robot fewer.
