The situation
A sports hall and corridors on three floors, connected by an elevator. The same areas have to be cleaned every day.
What we built
A wet cleaner connected to the elevator through radio modules and the elevator maker’s interface, with three floors mapped. When the robot stopped going to the right floor in August 2026, the elevator maker found a short circuit on the elevator board; we replaced the board and the cable.
Built with
- PUDU CC1 wet cleaner
- Elevator link via radio modules and the elevator maker’s interface
- Maps for three floors
The result
The robot takes the elevator on its own and cleans about 1,800 m² per working day, on 219 of 270 days (February to August 2026).
Why it matters
A robot that rides the elevator on its own cleans three floors of a school.
