Use case · Painting
Camouflage Automotive, Heilbronn
Expanded in three stages since 2023
The situation
Camouflage Automotive, a Porsche supplier, paints carbon add-on parts for sports cars in series. There are many variants, the demands on the surface are the highest, and every work step must be documented.
What we built
We built in stages. In 2023 a first Lesta robot on subscription. In 2024 a new system with another robot and two turntables. In 2025 a robot on a base plate in the existing booth, with 2K supply, explosion-proof consoles and proportional valves: installed in April and May 2025, 2K operation tested on May 28, 2025. In 2026 an inspection cell for the finished parts was added.
Built with
- Lesta MV A6 painting robots, in three stages
- Two turntables
- 2K supply with explosion-proof consoles
- Beckhoff terminals for proportional valves, Profinet
The result
The robots paint the carbon parts in series. Camouflage hosts prospects during normal operation, most recently a plastics paint shop from Alsace in September 2026.
Why it matters
A supplier with the highest demands on the surface expands its robotics with us step by step.
