Painting robots on subscription Your booth keeps painting, even when your best painter is out.

Your painter shows the robot the motion once, and the robot repeats it every shift. No programmer, in your existing booth, from EUR 2,900 a month including installation, maintenance and spare parts.

How the robot learns

Your painter shows it once. The robot paints it every shift.

No code, no teach pendant: your painter guides the weightless arm once and the robot stores the motion. In our customers' words, from their films:

A painter guides the arm of a Lesta painting robot through the motion, then the robot paints on its own.
Filmed at Passt Coating AG.

«Ich lackiere die Teile einmal mit dem Roboter, speichere das Programm, und danach kann jeder Mitarbeiter den Roboter bedienen und die Teile lackieren, ohne Lackierkenntnisse zu benötigen.»

Translation: “I paint the parts once with the robot and save the program. After that, any employee can operate the robot and paint the parts without needing any painting skills.”

David Sievers, head of Sievers Lackierungen Customer film Sievers Lackierungen Original quote in German

«Ich danke meinen zwei Roboterkollegen, weil sie das tun, was ich von ihnen möchte, und mir so mehr Energie für das lassen, was ich gerne mache.»

Translation: “I thank my two robot colleagues, because they do what I want them to do and leave me more energy for what I like to do.”

Regis, coater, Passt Coating AG Customer film Passt Coating AG Original quote in German
  1. The motors switch off

In teach mode, compressed air carries the weight of the arm. Your painter guides it as easily as a spray gun.

  2. The real arm learns

Because the arm itself records the motion, every taught point is reachable. No corrections afterwards.

  3. Start, motion, stop

That is all it takes. The robot stores the motion with a repeatability of ±3 mm.

  4. AI part recognition for many variants

A camera or 3D scanner recognizes the part and loads the right program, also with robots of other brands. For example at: Agricultural machinery maker in the Osnabrück regionDrive technology maker in Baden-Württemberg More on quality inspection

What manufacturers ask before automating

  • A painting robot in your existing booth costs from EUR 2,900 a month, including installation, teaching, maintenance and spare parts. The exact amount depends on the robot, accessories and term. Painting cells and special systems are priced after a site walkthrough. During the free walkthrough we work out with your painting hours whether the robot pays for itself, even if the answer is no.

  • No. Your painter guides the weightless arm through the motion once and the robot stores it, with curves, recesses and undercuts. A new part is taught the same way. With many variants, a scanner recognizes the part and loads the program. If you prefer programming on screen from 3D models, Paint Studio 3.0 is available as an option.

  • At an industrial painter in the Upper Palatinate, the first test program ran one week after arrival on site, and four weeks after pre-assembly in our workshop the robot was painting, without stopping production. A wet painter in Solingen had installation and handover in one week. We give you the schedule for your booth after the walkthrough.

  • We check remotely first, and a technician comes if needed. After a collision at a contract coater in Emsland, production was running again after about four hours. Your booth stays a booth: where a part needs touching up or the robot is down, your team keeps painting by hand. What is binding is in your contract.

  • We do, from Altstätten: first by remote diagnosis, then with a technician on site. Maintenance, safety checks and spare parts are included in the subscription, and every visit ends with a report. At the maintenance in June 2026, both robots at BETEC Beschichtungstechnik were in very good condition.

  • The robot takes nobody's job. In our projects, painters move from the booth to robot supervision, quality assurance or teaching new programs, and they no longer breathe solvents. At Sievers Lackierungen the team gave the robot a name; at a paint shop in Saarland the painter now improves the programs himself. We train on site until your team runs the robot on its own.

  • In most cases, yes. The Lesta MV A6 comes in four mounting options: floor, ceiling, carriage and carousel. It connects to existing conveyor and PLC systems. Before installation, we analyze your booth and design the solution for your production. This analysis is part of our service.

  • In most cases, yes. At Passt Coating AG in Nunningen, two robots run on an old powder line with chains, motors and a lifting unit, where many thought no robot could ever be installed. An encoder on the chain sprocket synchronizes the robots with the chain. At a family business in the Hegau region, the robot paints every third slot on the chain behind the manual booth.

  • Yes. We build 2K supplies with up to four circuits and servo-driven gear metering pumps, with flushing and color change, or connect your existing 2K system. At a family-owned paint shop in Emsland, a color change with automatic gun and pressure tank takes about 30 seconds.

  • His movements stay in the company as programs. At Sievers Lackierungen, the head of the family business paints a part once with the robot and saves the program. After that, every employee can start the program, even without painting skills.

  • Your people supervise the process outside the booth instead of standing in the spray mist. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies occupational exposure as a painter as carcinogenic to humans (Group 1, IARC Monographs Volume 100F). The robot also holds distance, angle and overlap precisely: less overspray, less paint and less VOC per part.

  • Yes, on subscription. You pay a fixed monthly fee for the robot, installation, maintenance and spare parts, with no upfront investment. At the end of the term you take over the robot or extend. Buying is also possible.

  • No. Robonnement is an official Lesta partner and integrator for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Lesta is an Italian manufacturer of self-learning painting robots. We handle the entire lifecycle: consulting, design, installation, training, maintenance and support, on subscription or with a purchase.
