Service

What our service does every day

From our service cases and field reports since January 2026: what comes up most often, and how we solve it. We handle much of it remotely and the rest on site.

Painting robots

  • Routine maintenance

Tension and grease the chains, lubricate gears and axes, clean the controller, drives and fans. For many robots about every three months, plus the annual safety inspection. Every visit ends with photos and a report.

  • Back in production after a crash

Inspect the mechanics, re-home, test the programs with the painter. At one contract coater, production was running again after about four hours.

  • Paint path and spray pattern

No paint at the gun or an uneven pattern: we check distributors, valves and sieves section by section, find the cause and agree a protocol with your team.

  • Calibration and fine-tuning

Recalibrate, replace an encoder, fine-tune a collision detection that had been switched off because of false alarms.

Cleaning and service robots

  • Remote reset

We solve many faults without anyone traveling: check the status, restart, update the software, adjust the tasks.

  • Re-mapping

Large floors, sloped floors, lots of glass or a new furniture layout: we re-map, markers first. Since February 2026 we follow our own protocol for every installation.

  • Wear parts

Brushes, rubber blades, filters and suction bars are the most frequent case. We ship them from our stock in Altstätten; you can swap many of them yourself with our instructions.

  • Station, water, detergent

Descale the station, replace parts, check the detergent dosing, and bring a mobile water tank where needed.

  • Elevator and network

If the robot enters the elevator but does not reach the right floor, we check the radio module, the board and the SIM.
